Kaila Mussell, a certified bronc rider, was the first and only woman since the 1940s to compete with men in PRCA and the Canadian Star Rodeo Affiliation (CSRA). Presently in her mid-30s, she’s been busy for over twelve years. Like most of her cattle rustler rivals, the local of Chilliwack, English Columbia in western Canada contends more for pride than for checks — her “genuine work” is as a fitness coach and a jane-of-all-exchanges.
