Gonzales jointed or broken snaffle bits are TIG welded which is a smooth weld and subsequently creates one of the smoothest mouthpieces that do not pinch. Traditional Gonzales snaffle bits are crafted with a straighter bar on each side of the joint. This straight design offers a quicker release of pressure, the ultimate training goal. However, we offer bits with a slight curve in the mouthpiece to meet the needs of many riders.
